We believe in the
7 Pillars of Memory Care
to ensure our Connections' residents live a connected, active, purposeful, and safe life.

Our residents suffering from dementia might be overwhelmed by decisions, but they still deserve to make their own choices. We offer suggestions and options to encourage and maintain a feeling of control and dignity in their lives.
Life experiences do not simply disappear with dementia. Our caregivers inspire residents to reflect on positive memories through immersive and sensory activities involving music and group interaction, so they can enjoy life in the present.
Those with dementia are known to experience issues with eating and drinking. To relieve anxiety and emphasize comfort, we provide a calming atmosphere in the dining environment. We also offer cooking demonstrations and nutrient-rich meals.
We utilize safety software, such as QuietCare and iN2L, to non-invasively monitor memory care residents, allowing them as much freedom and mobility as possible to interact and engage with other residents and family members.
Every resident is treated as a unique individual with unique qualities, abilities, preferences, and needs. We take the personality of each resident into consideration to provide the best personalized care possible.
Seeing a loved one suffer from dementia can be difficult for family members. At the Legacy, our caregivers are prepared to support both our residents and their families, keeping everyone involved and educated.
Through a collaborative support team of physicians, caregivers, and family members, dementia patients have been shown to grow and improve. We highlight this effort most of all to give our residents the highest quality of life possible.
